摘要：
Topological cyclic homology, which was introduced by Bokstedt-Hsiang-Madsen in early 90s, is an important tool to compute algebraic K-groups via the cyclotomic trace map. It is also closely related to p-adic cohomology theories as revealed by the recent work of Bhatt-Morrow-Scholze. In this talk, we will give a brief introduction to topological cyclic homology and present a new approach to compute it in the case of p-adic local fields. Joint work with Guozhen Wang.
报告人简介：
刘若川，北京大学博雅特聘教授。于1999-2004年在北京大学数学科学学院学习，获学士、硕士学位，2008年获美国麻省理工学院博士学位，2012年回到北京大学，在北京国际数学研究中心任职。主要研究领域是算术几何与代数数论。他在p进霍奇理论、p进自守形式与p进朗兰兹纲领等方向取得了一系列重要成果，特别是与人合作在几何相对p进霍奇理论方面做了奠基性的工作。研究成果发表在Invent. Math.、Duke Math. J.、Compos. Math.等国际著名数学期刊。2017年获得国家杰出青年基金项目。2019年9月荣获“科学探索奖”，肯定他致力于将经典的复数域上的几何学理论拓展至p进数域，并对p进簇的黎曼-希尔伯特问题取得突破性进展。2020年10月荣获第十六届中国青年科技奖。
